Hi, I’m Briana! My passion for health and fitness started with running my first 5k several years ago, which eventually led me to this career.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Arizona State University, where I had the opportunity to learn from leading experts on nutrition, exercise science and holistic wellness with an emphasis on building health throughout the life cycle.
I am an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer and sports nutrition specialist. My love for triathlons also led me to become one of the first graduates of IRONMAN University’s triathlon coaching certification program.
Since my first 5k, I have gone on to complete several 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and a full marathon. I have also completed several sprint, olympic, half and full Ironman distance triathlons. I’ve done this all by training at home or outdoors.
I’ve struggled with my weight and body image for most of my life, and have tried nearly every diet out there. After years of struggling I realized diets don’t work! Shakes, supplements, teas, and pills are not going to help you lose weight. I don’t want a quick fix, I want to eat and enjoy real food. I want to look and feel comfortable in my own skin at any weight or age.
I started fuel inspire train, because it seemed every woman I knew was struggling with knowing what to eat, having positive body image, and struggling to find time to work out. Only when I started to prioritize my own health did I realize that eating well makes me feel well. By looking in the mirror every day and saying you are beautiful, loved and worth it, I finally started to see my self worth. I started working out at home because I was too intimidated by the gym. I got a littler stronger physically and mentally, everyday that I invested time in myself.
I’ve struggled, I know what it’s like to be unhappy, overweight and out of shape. I found the courage in myself to change and I’m hear to help you find yours. It’s never too late to change your habits and start living happy and healthy for many years to come.
